Nassfeld is a gem of a resort in the sunny province of Carinthia. While most British people have only recently started discovering this area its situation on the border between three countries means that Nassfeld has a great mix of nationalities and influences on its atmosphere.
The resort of Nassfeld is appx 1 hour from Klagenfurt Airport, 2 hours from Graz, Ljubljana and Trieste Airports, 2.5 hours from Salzburg and Venice Airports.

On the mountain
Five cable cars, three six-seater chair lifts, four four-seater chair lifts and 18 drag lifts add up to a capacity of 44,000 people per hour. Queues at the lifts? What are you talking about?!
The Millennium Express gondola is the longest in Europe and takes just 17 minutes to transport you to an altitude in excess of 2,000m. From here you will experience stunning views of both the Austrian and Italian Alps and have access to 110km of snow sure pistes to suite all levels of skier with the option of some great off piste into Italy.

Skiers and Snowboarders are very well catered for in Nassfeld austria. There are two parks with quarter pipes, kickers, table tops and a snow cross park which was the venue of the 2004 Junior World Championships.
Activities in Nassfeld
Nassfeld has something for everyone! You can skate on Europe’s largest natural ice rink, Lake Weissensee, take a toboggan run or hire some of the alternative snow equipment on the mountain like sledges, rubber tubes, snowbikes, airboard or skifox. The resort also has a high quality spa among other more relaxing facilities.
Nightlife in Nassfeld
The resort boasts 14 mountain restaurants and bars where you can enjoy the famous Austrian hospitality, cuisine and also sample dishes from nearby Italy and Slovenia.
There are plenty of lively après ski bars you can visit as you make your way down the mountain. The Baren Hütte near the gondola base holds daily après ski parties that carry on until late. Late night party crews check out the ultra modern Cube Club which has enough space for up to 1,500 people, live acts and DJ nights, several stages, super sound and light facilities, 4 bars and comfortable corners – The ideal place for big party nights!
